From the 4th to the 7th of May, Anima II embarked on her first regatta at the PalmaVela Regatta in Palma de Mallorca – one the most prestigious regattas in the Mediterranean. This event is highly competitive, attracting a wide range of sailing yachts, from high-performance racing boats to classic and vintage vessels.

Prior to the event, the team gathered for a training day, with crew members travelling from all over Europe and Asia. With varying levels of sailing experience among us, the training day was crucial to ensure the team had an exciting start to this new adventure. It was an exhilarating beginning to the journey, as we marvelled at the agility of Anima II. As the sun set, everyone’s roles were clearly defined. It was crucial for us to have professionals leading each position, as it created an optimal learning curve and a sense of safety for all on board.
