Captain Garry brings a wealth of blue-water sailing and superyacht command experience to Anima II. As Captain of the 48m S/Y Arabella, he led successful charter seasons across Bermuda, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Newport, and New York City, delivering seamless guest experiences at the highest standards of safety, presentation, and professionalism. He most recently served as Officer aboard the 56m Vitters S/Y Alea, where he contributed to the management of a world-class superyacht program and refined guest operations at the highest level.

Earlier in his career, Garry’s sailing foundation was shaped in Sint Maarten in the Dutch West Indies, as well as in San Diego and along the U.S. West Coast. There, he raced with Team Dennis Conner and aboard Stars & Stripes, while also sailing and maintaining the classic 1927 10-meter class S/Y Sally. These formative experiences instilled in him a deep respect for both high-performance sailing and traditional craftsmanship.

With a calm and thoughtful leadership style, Garry specializes in creating tailored charter experiences, whether guiding relaxed family cruising or delivering spirited days under sail. Now based in Palma de Mallorca, he is excited to bring his international experience and passion for sailing to the Balearic Islands aboard Anima II.
